Information you provide to us
Depending on how you use the site, you may provide your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, nationality, intended route, travel dates, destination, visa or consular destination, accommodation preferences, traveller count, and other details you choose to include in an enquiry or itinerary request.
The StepOut Reservations request form is designed not to require passport scans at the initial request stage. Please do not send highly sensitive identity documents unless StepOut specifically asks for them because they are genuinely needed for the service you requested.
Reservation and itinerary information
When you submit a StepOut itinerary request, we create an internal reference and store the information required to review and fulfil that request. A StepOut reference is an internal order/reference number; it is not an airline PNR, ticket number, hotel confirmation number, or visa reference.
The current reservation-request form does not collect payment-card details. If online payment is introduced later, the checkout page will identify the payment provider and applicable payment terms before you submit payment.
Contact forms and communications
If you contact StepOut Travel by email, website form, phone, WhatsApp, or another supported channel, we use the information you provide to respond, keep an appropriate record of the conversation, and provide the requested support.
Comments, accounts and media
If comments are enabled on a page, WordPress may collect the information shown in the comment form together with technical information used for spam and security checks. If user accounts are available, WordPress stores the profile information supplied for that account. If you upload media, avoid including unnecessary embedded location information.
Technical information, cookies and security
The website and its hosting, security, caching, consent, analytics, and anti-abuse systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information, request logs, cookies, and similar identifiers where required to operate, secure, measure, or remember preferences on the site. If a future service requires a genuine airline, hotel, travel supplier, payment processor, or other booking provider, relevant traveller information may need to be sent to that provider to perform the service. StepOut will not describe an internal itinerary document as a supplier-issued booking when no supplier booking exists.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to investigate misuse or security incidents.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service fulfilment, customer support, security, record-keeping, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. Retention periods can differ depending on the type of record and the reason it is needed.

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate. Some information may need to be retained where required for security, record-keeping, legal obligations, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of claims.
External websites
StepOut Travel articles may link to government authorities, airlines, hotels, universities, event organisers, scholarship bodies, and other external websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those organisations, not by StepOut Travel.
