These terms apply to StepOut Travel’s itinerary-preparation and reservation-request services. They are intended to make clear what StepOut is providing at each stage and what remains the responsibility of airlines, hotels, visa authorities, payment providers, and other third parties.
1. What the current StepOut Reservations service provides
The current service prepares or coordinates travel-itinerary information using the trip details supplied by the customer. Unless StepOut explicitly confirms otherwise for a particular order, the service does not by itself create an airline-issued ticket, airline PNR, hotel confirmation number, visa approval, or other supplier-issued booking.
A reference beginning with SO-RES- is a StepOut internal request reference. It must not be treated as an airline or hotel booking reference.
2. Service types and pricing
The available service types and current service fees are shown on the StepOut Reservations page at the time a request is submitted. Priority handling, where offered, is an additional service fee. Prices shown for the present itinerary-preparation service do not include airline fares, hotel charges, supplier deposits, government fees, consular fees, or other third-party costs unless the page expressly says otherwise.
3. Traveller information
You are responsible for providing accurate names, dates, destinations, nationality, route information, and other details. Names intended for travel use should match the travel document the traveller expects to use. StepOut may ask for clarification where information is incomplete or inconsistent.
Please do not send passport scans or other sensitive identity documents unless StepOut specifically requests them because they are necessary for the service being provided.
4. Visa and immigration use
Visa and immigration authorities decide what evidence they accept. StepOut does not guarantee that a prepared itinerary will satisfy a particular embassy, consulate, visa centre, airline, border authority, university, or other organisation. Customers should check the current requirements of the responsible authority before applying, paying, or travelling.
5. Genuine supplier reservations
If StepOut later offers a service that creates a genuine airline or hotel reservation through a travel supplier, the order page will identify that distinction. Supplier availability, hold periods, cancellation conditions, fare rules, hotel rules, and booking validity are controlled by the relevant supplier and can differ by itinerary.
StepOut will not knowingly present a self-generated itinerary or internal reference as though it were a supplier-issued PNR or confirmation.
6. Processing and completion
Submitting a request places it into the StepOut workflow for review. A request may move through statuses such as Received, Reviewing, Processing, Document Ready, Completed, or Cancelled. A displayed status describes StepOut’s internal handling of the request; it does not represent a visa decision or an airline or hotel decision.
7. Changes and corrections
If StepOut makes a material error in a document it prepared, we will correct that error without treating the correction as a new service. If the customer changes names, dates, route, destination, traveller count, or other instructions after work has begun, additional work or supplier costs may apply; any additional charge should be disclosed before that additional paid work is undertaken.
8. Payments, cancellations and refunds
The current reservation-request form does not collect online payment. When an online payment method is introduced, the applicable amount, payment provider, and any cancellation or refund conditions will be shown before payment is submitted. Third-party supplier charges, once introduced, may have separate cancellation or refund rules controlled by that supplier.
9. No outcome guarantee
StepOut Travel is not an embassy, immigration authority, airline, hotel, university, scholarship body, or border authority. Purchasing or requesting a StepOut service does not guarantee a visa, admission, scholarship, boarding decision, border entry, refund from a third party, or any other outcome controlled by another organisation.
10. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the service is handled under the StepOut Travel Privacy Policy. Do not provide unnecessary sensitive information.
11. Contact
Questions about a StepOut reservation request can be sent to info@stepouttravel.com or through the Contact page. Include the StepOut reference where one has been issued.
